We are first time Disney visitors and the WDW rep that I spoke with told me to tell the concierge and they would give us a banner and button keepsake for us to wear while we are there. Do a lot of people do this and do you recommend that we do it?

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation, Sandra!  Celebration buttons are complimentary and a fun way to let others know that you are celebrating your "1st Visit" to the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"  There are many, many guests that wear celebration buttons throughout the Walt Disney World Resort whether it be 1st Visit, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, or another type of celebration. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this special recognition highlighting your first time at Walt DIsney World. My son has worn a birthday celebration button on a past vacation and thoroughly enjoyed receiving birthday wishes throughout the day. I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any other questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a Magical first trip, Sandra!
    Happy Celebrating,
