Hello there this will be our first time to disney this summer and my son turns 3 day after our first day at the parks as I'm looking to purchase 14 day ticket will he need a ticket ? If not then will I need to carry his passport as proof of age at the park

Hi, Ami! Congratulations on your upcoming trip! May it be the first of many! Guests should purchase tickets based on age at the start of their travel window, which, for your son, is two years old. At Walt Disney World Resort, Guests under the age of three are admitted free of charge to all four theme parks and the two water parks. So, that means that he will not need an admission ticket this year. He won't have to have a ticket until his next trip! You will not need any identification paperwork to prove your son's age. As an additional tip, he also doesn't have to purchase meals. Guests under the age of three may share from an adult plate at no charge at all meals. When you make your reservations, you should include him in the total, though.  Even though he can share your meal at no cost, he must be counted in the number of people dining.  Walt Disney World uses this number when figuring restaurant capacity in order to comply with the fire marshal's maximum occupancy, and your son counts in that number. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
