Welcome to planDisney, Elena! We are glad you stopped by with your question. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
How exciting that you will be taking your children to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time! Be sure to pick a complimentary "First Visit" button at
Guest Relations, the Front Desk at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, or many merchandise locations.
As stated in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, wagons of any kind, including "stroller wagons", are not permitted in any theme park, water park, or indoor areas at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. You are welcome to bring your own stroller, as long as it is within the allowable dimensions of 31" wide by 52" long.
Strollers are also available to rent in the theme parks and at Disney Springs. Walt Disney World recently debuted a
brand new fleet of strollers featuring cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse designs. I found the rental strollers to work really well with children of walking age who might need to rest their tired legs now and again. The rental strollers are low to the ground, making it very easy for children to climb in and out on their own. If you think your children might need to nap in the stroller, I recommend bringing your own or renting a stroller that reclines from one of the many third-party vendors that can deliver baby equipment to wherever you are staying. ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider and will drop off your stroller with Bell Services at your
Disney Resort Hotel. You will not need to be present for delivery or pick-up when renting through ScooterBug.
I hope that helps! If you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again. Have a wonderful vacation!
