Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly! The
Christmas holiday at Disney is sure to bring you cheer and joy. It's my favorite time to visit.
You're in for a special treat during your first Disney trip during the holidays. Sometimes it's hard to explain how magical it is until you experience it in person!
Fireworks at
Magic Kingdom are one of the best ways to kick things off. The timing really depends on whether your arrival day falls on a regular park night or a special-ticketed party night, like
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
On regular evenings, you can usually expect Happily Ever After to light up the sky around 8:00 or 9:00p.m., depending on the time of year. But if it’s a party night, things work a little differently.
Instead of Happily Ever After, the park features a special holiday fireworks show that’s exclusive to party guests. Those party fireworks usually happen later in the evening, usually around 10:00 p.m. Since the party is a separate-ticketed event, only guests with party wristbands can stay and watch.
However, keep in mind, on a regular night or a party night, fireworks and parades are subject to cancellation in case of inclement weather, so be sure to ask a Cast Member the night of your dinner if the weather has been unpredictable.
Have a wonderful, cheery, good time, Kimberly. Remember that you can always come back to see us for your Disney questions. We're happy to help you plan the most exciting visit!
Toodles,
Korliss
