First time Disney Cruisers Grand Parents, Daughter son in-law and 4, 6 year old Dining Second our travel agent asked for Wait List for early Dining. We are hoping we can get Early Kids go to bed 08:00. Sure have our fingers crossed. What are the chances.

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Howard!

I am so excited to hEAR you are setting out on your very first Disney cruise!  How incredibly special to share it with your daughter, son-in-law and your grandchildren.  My pirates-in-training still talk about our high seas adventure with their grandparents as one of their most favorite and memorable vacations.

There are a lot of variables that will determine if availability for early seating will open up for your sailing.  In my personal experience, I have only been on the wait list once and did not get moved to the early seating.  I have met and broken bread with others who have successfully moved up to early seating.  It does happen!

The late seating for dinner in the rotational dining rooms is enjoyable!  We selected this seating on our cruise this spring and found we liked going to the Broadway style shows in the Walt Disney Theater before dinner.

You also have great alternatives if some of the evenings you find the little ones cannot wait until your dinner seating.  Cabanas is available throughout the evening to give you flexibility on when you have your evening meal.  Your entire family can also order complimentary room service to your stateroom if you prefer to enjoy your meal privately.  Quick service dining is also available on the pool deck if you want to grab a quick bite before the evening's show!

Enjoy making so many magical memories onboard with your family, Howard!  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any more questions before you set sail.

    Bon voyage!  Angie
