Ahoy there Holly! Thanks for sailing by planDisney.
You will love sailing with Disney; a vacation anytime is fantastic, but a cruise with the Mouse is magical. One of our family's favorite things to do is find all of the hidden Mickeys on the ship. On our sail on
the Wish, I became an expert at finding them in the wallpaper!
Rotational dining is also one of the highlights of a Disney cruise. You get to sample the excellent restaurants on the ship, all while having the same Crew Members. The staff knows your dietary preferences, so it feels like concierge dining every night. Rotational Dining starts at the same time each evening in order to accommodate both seatings. But, for the night she's going to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique there are a few options.
-You and your daughter can join dinner a bit late. If it's on a night that doesn't have
a dinner show, that's not a big deal, but I wouldn't want you all to have to navigate (and miss parts of it!) coming in during the middle of the festivities.
-You can have dinner at one of the
Quick Service options on the ship after she is done getting her fairytale makeover. As long as there's a stop for
soft-serve ice cream, I bet there will be no objection!
-Take advantage of the
complimentary 24-hour room service onboard. That way, your daughter can show off her princess attire and enjoy activities on the ship as long as she wants on her birthday (as she should since it's her day!).
If none of these options work for you, you can speak with a Crew Member about your concerns on embarkation day. They may be able to adjust your dining rotation so you and your daughter won't miss a dinner show or help you adjust her appointment time. It's not guaranteed, but it's absolutely worth the try! Good luck and Happy Birthday to your girl!
