    First time in Disney (coming in May), I booked the fantasmic package but now I've read that the seats are not very good. What are the benefits of this package? Thanks- love the panel!!!

    How exciting to be planning your first Disney World vacation. It truly is even more magical than you ca imagine.

    My oldest son's favorite Disney World show is Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios. It is the only thing he requests every trip, so we have been lucky enough to enjoy this amazing light, laser, stage show many times.Personally, I love the ease of the Fantasmic dinner package and we love the seats. Matter of fact, there there has only been one time that we went to the show and did not sit in the dinner package seats. The theater is a semi-circle design, surrounding the lagoon and stage. General seating is from the middle of the theater all the way to the left, with the dinner package seating taking up the right side of the theater. Both general seating and the package seating have front row seating, with rows going all the way to the back of the theater. There is no reserved seats, so even in the roped off portion for the package guests, the seats are first come, but we have never had a complaint regarding our seats and have sat in the first row many times (caution, you will get wet there).

    The Fantasmic show is extremely popular and lines form quite early for general seating. Disney reserves the package seating for guests with a special entrance pass and we love that we do not need to wait in line nearly as long to get a great seat. I think you will be extremely happy sitting there, on top of the fact that the package includes a delicious dinner at one of Hollywood Studios fabulous restaurants.
