    Will be the very first time in Disney. Going from Aug 27-31, 2012, with 9 and 5 yr old girls. Crazy for princess. Not doing water parks. Which is the better resort hotel to stay? French Quarter or All Star Movie? considering the kids. Can afford either on

    While both resorts would be fine, if you can afford to move up to Port Orleans - French Quarter, do it. It is not even about the Princess thing. I have two of my own, trust me.

    It is about the resort amenities. More featured pools, greater dining options, the boat rides to Downtown Disney, and the themed grounds with more to explore and do. Don't overlook that Port Orleans - Riverside is right there, offering even more amenities a short walk away.
