First time DC travelers! Leaving from Port Miami - Where should we have our Lyft drop us off? Our port arrival time is 12:30. What time should we actually get there? Is there benefit to arriving early? Thank you! So much to think about!

    Ahoy Amy!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am beyond excited to hear that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey for the VERY FIRST TIME in just a couple of weeks!  It is time to get your packing lists ready and download your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you are going on a Disney cruise!

The port arrival time that you selected during your online check-in is the time that you should arrive at the cruise terminal.  Personally, I try to arrive about 15 to 30 minutes early to give myself enough time to locate the terminal, drop my luggage with the porters and go through security.  You are welcome to arrive early, but you likely will not board the ship before this scheduled time.

Currently, Disney Cruise Line sailings leaving from the Port of Miami typically depart from terminal F.  Your Lyft driver should be able to take you directly to where the porters will collect your luggage for cruises leaving from this terminal.  Let your Lyft driver know that you are sailing with Captain Mickey and they can follow the signs at the port to get you to where you need to be.

All of your careful planning will pay off with smooth sailing, Amy!  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set out on your high seas adventure.

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
