Ahoy, Christine!
Your question made be giggle because I have a teen and tween, and there are two spots on a Disney ship I can find my children if I stand there long enough...the 24-hour beverage station and
Eye Scream Treats (the soft-serve ice scream station)! They definitely take advantage of these being all-you-can-drink and eat and sometimes blend the two with a delicious Coke ice cream float!
I'm actually really glad your kiddos kept asking you this question and that you decided to reach out because I do have some important tips for the beverage station since this is your first time aboard Disney Cruise Line. The station does not offer refillable mugs, but paper cups that are the size of the small cups used at the Walt Disney World Resort. What you want to do is to bring some of your refillable mugs or some other type of large cup to use so your visits to the station are less frequent. The caveat is that you cannot not use your mug or cup to fill up for sanitary reasons (there are signs posted in case you forget), so you will have to use the small paper cups provided to fill up your cup from home. I bring a small container of dishwashing soap so we can rinse out our cups as needed in our stateroom. Coke products are available at the drink station and in the main dining rooms and at Cabanas. If your teens order soda from room service or from a bar or lounge, there will be a charge. There are also sodas for purchase outside of the theaters so you can always stop by the beverage station before heading down for a show or movie.
I'm glad you stopped by to "sea" us, Christine, and I'm so excited for you to experience your first Disney Cruise on the
Disney Wonder in April! If you or your teens have more questions, please let us know.
Have a WONDERful day!
Nancy
