Hello, we are first time cruisers and are uncertain how things run. We reserve a port adventure activity in Cayman Island and are not sure how to pay for it? Will this fee be charged automatically to the "on board account" we opened with Disney

Shuya, welcome aboard! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! Believe me when I say that there is so much magic in store when you head out to sea with Captain Mickey! It sounds like you're on one of the Western Caribbean itineraries. My family and I have sailed the Western Caribbean many times and some of those ports are our favorites, especially Grand Cayman Island!

Disney Cruise Line offers some amazing Port Adventures there (and in the other ports too!) that guests can enjoy for part or all of their day. When your online check-in time begins, 75 days prior to sailing, you can begin checking in online. Besides providing Disney with your details there, you'll also have the chance to book Port Adventures, Adult Exclusive Dining, Spa Treatments and other fun extras. These are not charged until you are on the ship, and they will be charged to your stateroom account before the last night of your sailing. It is then that you settle your account, either with cash, Disney Gift Cards, or if you have put a credit card on your account, it'll simply be charged to that.

Since some Port Adventures are very popular, and guests who have sailed with Disney before are able to begin booking these 90 or more days out, you'll not want to wait long after that 75-day mark to book your must-do adventures.

    Have fun planning, Shuya!
