Welcome back, Kendrick! The Disney Magic is such a magnificent ship with so many different
activities offered all day and night. One of those many activities is the opportunity to watch first-run Disney movies in the Buena Vista Theatre!
My family and I love grabbing a bucket of popcorn onboard and settling in for a good movie at sea! We've been fortunate enough to be onboard a few times when brand new Disney movies were premiering, and since Captain Mickey prem-EARs them onboard the same day they do back home on land, we've been among the first to see them! What a treat!
You're a bit away from setting sail in April, and since the movies aren't finalized until just before sailing, I can at least tell you what is currently playing on the Disney Magic in the
Buena Vista Theatre:
Incredibles 2
The Nutcracker and The Four Realms
Ralph Breaks the Internet
Mary Poppins Returns
Now, since the movie lineup is always subject to change, you may not get all of these movies in April when you sail. But, certainly, the newest Disney releases will be playing onboard, which will include the following:
Captain Marvel - set to premier March 8, 2019
Dumbo (new live action) - set to premier March 29, 2019
I personally cannot wait to see the new Dumbo! That will be such a beautiful movie! So, if you're looking forward to seeing either of these two new ones, hold off until you're onboard. There's something all the more special about enjoying a couple hours in the Buena Vista Theatre for a new Disney movie, then getting to head out on deck and around the ship to live even more Disney magic!
