We are first time cruisers leaving in jan 2015 and we're wondering where can you find information on extras? For example we just found out if you bring a pillow case and leave it at the welcome desk you can get it signed. Are there other extra?

Welcome aboard, Cindy! You've got just under a year to plan all the extra excitement that you'll encounter when you set sail with Disney Cruise Line! Believe me, even if you plan nothing extra, you'll be in for such a magical cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew because Disney Cruise Line makes every voyage absolutely amazing!

Guests are welcome to leave up to two items at Guest Services to be signed by characters. We've left monogrammed pillowcases, blank Vinylmation, photo mats and more. It's such a treat to receive it back before the last day of the cruise with all the autographs!

Have you heard of pin trading? Disney has all sorts of fun trading pins in the parks and on the ships. Onboard, Cast Members wearing lanyards will trade with the kids, so you might want to grab a lanyard and a starter set of Disney trading pins before you embark so they kids can have fun trading. There's even an Officer Pin Trading event onboard, usually on the last night of the cruise, which my kids never want to miss!

Depending on what ship you'll be sailing, there are some extra meet and greets with characters like the Royal Court Royal Tea on the Disney Fantasy, which does carry an additional cost, and sometimes the Wonder and Magic offer smaller free tea times with princesses (though you'll need to get a ticket as space is limited, so ask at Guest Services when you board).

You might consider buying some magnetic printer paper and designing personalized Disney Cruise magnets with your family members' names on them. As you walk the halls, you'll see guests love to decorate their stateroom doors with magnets. You can find some great design templates online by googling "Disney Cruise Line magnet designs". It also makes it easier to spot your door as you walk down those hallways of identical stateroom doors.

There is so much to tell, but I'm about out of space, Cindy. Stop back with any other questions as you continue to plan your trip!
