Ahoy, Rebecca!
Congratulations on your first
Disney Cruise vacation! Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew can't wait to welcome you to the Disney Cruise Line family in August. I love the planning almost as much as the cruise itself, so I hope you'll enjoy the process in the coming months.
Although, staterooms on cruise ships are not quite as large as hotel rooms, I think you'll find the staterooms aboard Disney Cruise Line to be very spacious. And the good news is that you won't be spending a lot of time in your cabin because you'll want to be out experiencing
all a Disney Cruise has to offer. When you're all in the stateroom, you'll be able to utilize the split bathroom to get ready. This is a huge help when everyone is trying to get out the door for dinner or ready for bed.
As for your
packing, there is ample storage for your belongings. We always use the space under the bed for our luggage. Since Disney Cruise Line makes cruising with families so easy, you do have the option to wash clothes while aboard in the
laundry rooms. There is a nominal fee, which will be charged to your stateroom account. Laundry detergent is also available for purchase, and the hours of operation are 24-hours per day. This is always a big space saver for us!
Rebecca, I'm so excited for your family to cast off on your magical voyage this summer. Please keep us posted as you continue to plan. We always love to help!
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
