First Time Cruise on Disney Dream Going in January2014! Two things : for Nassau what currency do we need ? Also was booked in room 5192 which is at the back of the ship we have a verandah room im worried about the view from this room as well as the deck

Welcome aboard, Amanda! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! The Dream is one very magical ship, and I'm sure your family will have an amazing time!

Don't worry about exchanging currency for Nassau, as US currency is widely accepted throughout the island, as are credit cards.

Your stateroom is a really great one, in my opinion! Stateroom 5192 is in the aft of the ship and has an extended verandah, giving you lots more space to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze! Your views will be amazing throughout the cruise. When you dock at Castaway Cay, most times, the ship backs into place, which will leave you with a great view of all the fun on the island. I would take this stateroom in a heartbeat! Plus, when you look down from your verandah, you'll see Sorcerer Mickey on the back of the ship with the water below!

If you have kids, you'll find this spot very convenient for accessing the Youth Clubs which are on Deck Five as well. Because your stateroom is in the aft, you'll find it very private, with not many guests walking by in the halls outside your room. There is a guest laundry room across the hall from your stateroom. These are normally pretty quiet and not frequented too often. A plus for you is that you can iron clothes and throw in a load of dirty laundry without having to go far at all!

There is a nightclub, called Evolution, directly below your room on Deck Four. Most guests don't have a problem with this, but you may hear music through the floor at night, though again, it wouldn't be anything that would cause me to change rooms, based on all the other pluses of that spot! If you think it might bother you, chat with an agent at Disney Cruise Line to see if you can get that same spot on a higher deck.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your Dream cruise, Amanda! I'm happy to help with other questions before you set sail, so don't hesitate to stop back!
