This will be our first time with a car, my question is when i park is it walking distance to park entrances or do we have to take a tram? and if we have to take tram is there a spot for strollers to be left open or do they have to folded to get on trams?

    Taryn,

It just depends.  (Great answer, I know!)  If you arrive early in the morning, you may possibly be able to park close enough that you could walk into the park from your car.  We've been able to do this at several parks.  One notable exception is the Magic Kingdom, where the parking lot is at the Transportation & Ticket center, not the theme park.  Everyone must take a monorail from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom.  Strollers can be left open on the monorail though, so again if you park near the front you can walk straight to the monorail.

More often than not, however, we end up taking a tram.  The parking lots are so huge, and we do so much walking in the parks that we try to save a few steps where we can.  The big downside is that no, the strollers cannot be left open.  You do have to remove your belongings and fold them up before you can board the tram.

    Hope that helps!
