First I would like to thank the panel for all of your ideas. My concern is that I want to do character dining but was wondering if it is safe to bring my son who has Peanut and Kiwi Allergies?

    Hi Dwayne,

You are very welcome! We love to help spread the Disney magic! Character Dining is an awesome way to relax from all the activity in the parks and enjoy a nice meal (in the air condition) while visiting with some Disney pals.

One of the really great things about Disney World is the care and attention they give to guests traveling with health or allergy concerns. Each guest's concerns are treated on a case by case basis and are discussed with you to make sure the best options are available. When calling to make your dining reservation be sure to mention your son's allergies. A note is entered into the reservation which alerts the restaraunt of the allergy.

Once you arrive at the hostess stand to check in be sure to mention the allergy again as well as to your server. The chef will then come to the table to discuss the allergy and what choices will be best for your son. I think you will find each location does a fantastic job of finding something that is safe and delicious for him to enjoy. I have seen this process in action myself, and can tell you that in every case, we have been amazed at the care that goes into making sure the options are within the guests dietary or allergy restrictions.

    Have a great time!
