This is my first solo trip as an adult. I have many magic bands on my other family account that are mine and linked to my fingerprint, name and address. I made a new account to travel without my family, how do I add that magic band to my new account?

Hiya, Emma! I'm so glad you found the trail of pixie dust that Tinker Bell left for you and followed it back here to planDisney!

Oh boy, I'm so excited to hear that you're heading on your first solo trip to Walt Disney World Resort as an adult! There will be magic waiting for you around every corner as you experience everything that The World's Most Magical Celebration has to offer. Be sure to take some time to check out the glowing Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, which light up the nighttime landscape in new and surprising ways! And don't forget to sample some of the celebratory sweets to add a little extra magic to your day.

Emma, at this time, Guests are not able to transfer a MagicBand from one account to another. Since your MagicBand has already been linked to your first account, you won't be able to link it to a second account. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! You have a few options available to you that I think you'll enjoy just as much.

Have you heard of the Disney MagicMobile service? This is a digital pass that you can use on your smart device, such as an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch, or Google Pay-enabled android phone. You can use this service to enter theme parks, link your Disney PhotoPass pictures, and charge to your Disney Resort hotel.

To set this up, you'll first want to download the My Disney Experience app. Tap the icon that looks like three stacked bars in the bottom right corner, then tap Disney MagicMobile. Set up your pass, then tap the plus sign in the upper right corner to add it to your Apple Wallet if you have an iPhone. Ta-da! It's just like magic!

After you've set this up, take some time to explore everything that the My Disney Experience app has to offer. This is a little like holding your own personal magic wand in your hand! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This is my favorite way of making sure my snacks and meals are ready before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly!

Emma, I hope I was able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please come back to visit us again. Remember - you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
