Hi Christina!
You are going to have so much fun visiting
Walt Disney World and park hopping to maximize your day. I love this option because I can visit one park in the morning and another at night, making the most of my day at the parks!
I think that the best option is to drive to both parks that you plan to visit. When I park hop, I park at the first
Walt Disney World Theme Park in the morning and then drive over to my second park later in the day. You only have to pay for theme park parking once per day, no matter how many parks you visit. And if you're staying at a WDW resort hotel or if you have an annual pass, parking at the theme parks is free.
Another option is to park at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you know you will be at during the end of your day. For example, if you plan to end your day at
Epcot, park at Epcot in the morning and take a bus to
Disney's Animal Kingdom. This will allow you to have your car at the end of the day. The
buses begin running approximately 30 minutes prior to the park opening. Depending upon how early you want to visit Animal Kingdom, the bus to Epcot may or may not be running. When you check into your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can ask for the bus transportation hours. You can also consider using an Uber to arrive and depart from the parks. With this option, you can take the Disney bus transportation from Animal Kingdom to Epcot when you decide to park hop.
As a friendly reminder,
Disney Park Pass reservations are still required for the first theme park you’re visiting each day. Make sure to book your reservation 60 days in advance.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
