First off, I'd like to say I LOVE the moms panel..it is soooo helpful! Anywho my husband's parents want to take my daughter, husband, and I as well as nephew and his parents in August/September. I am prego due Sept 21. Will I be able to enjoy the resort?

Hi Ashley, Congratulations on the new arrival. You must be so excited!

The first thing I must say is that you should always speak to your own medical team about the advisability of travel during the last trimester of your pregnancy. That being said, I will tell you that most of the Moms Panelists have traveled to WDW while pregnant (well, not the men, but you know what I mean). I traveled to WDW when I was five months pregnant with twins. I had a great time, but I did modify my usual touring a bit. I avoided some of the thrill rides with posted pregnancy warnings, I walked less, and I took extra care to stay hydrated. I'm sure you're aware that WDW in the summer is HOT. During the middle of the day you should try to enjoy the air conditioned attractions whenever possible.

You may also want to head over to the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "Touring for Two: Twelve Tips for Visiting Walt Disney World While Pregnant." This may give you some additional things to think about when planning your trip. And again, please be sure to check with your doctor before making any decisions.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
