Our first morning at WDW includes breakfast at Cinderella's castle. Our reservation is at 8:30am and we'll be taking the bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge. I was planning on being down at the buses by 7am. Will that give us enough time to get there?

Hiya, Elizabeth! Thank you for your question - we're glad you're here.

What a wonderful way to start a practically perfect Walt Disney World vacation. Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most popular dining experiences, and a breakfast reservation first thing in the morning may give you a chance to capture the perfect castle picture on your way in.

I always recommend you give yourself at least an hour to travel from your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to a dining reservation inside one of the theme parks using Disney transportation. Although the distance between Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Magic Kingdom Park isn't that far, you'll still want to give yourself plenty of time to get from where the Disney resort bus drops you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center to the inside of the park. You'll also want to check at the front desk at your resort to see what time the first buses start rolling. Usually, they begin running about 45 minutes before the theme park opens

One option that might save you a little time is using the Minnie Van Service. This ride-sharing service works through the Lyft app on your phone, and the big advantage is that the Minnie Vans can go directly to the entrance at Magic Kingdom as opposed to the Transportation and Ticket Center. That will save you a monorail or ferry ride, and potentially a decent chunk of time. The vans also start running about 6:30 AM, so it may be a better option for an early morning reservation.

Enjoy every magical moment of your visit, Elizabeth!
