    First let me say what a great panel. We are sailing on Wonder's repositioning cruise out of Vancouver Sept 13 to LA and are planning on going to DL for 5 days. Is there ground transportation to the Good Neighbour Hotels or is it only to the DL Hotels? Thx.

    Darla, welcome aboard! Sailing with Disney along the California coast is a real treat, and my family was fortunate enough to do this last year. A visit to the Disneyland resort is an absolute must since you'll be so close!

    Disney's transportation options will only take you between the port and one of Disneyland's three resorts. If you'd like to stay at one of the Good Neighbor Hotels, you have a few different transportation options.

    We found that the least expensive option was to pre-arrange a SuperShuttle, which is a shared van service. Google this to find out the prices and information. You will most likely stop at a few other places before you get to the hotel, but the ride is just fine and you can save some money this way. I used to live in the Los Angeles area and found myself taking the SuperShuttle van to and from the airport many times.

    Another option would be to rent a car, but once you get to the Good Neighbor hotel, you'll be within walking distance of the Disneyland resort. Since all of the resort is right there, including California Adventure and Downtown Disney, you won't need a car at all.

    One last option would be looking into a private transfer with a sedan or limo service. We used Sky's The Limit Limo and Sedan service in Orange County to go to and from the port when we last sailed on the Wonder out of Los Angeles, and found this company's service to be wonderful. They were easy to work with and very efficient. Of course, you could google other limo and sedan services in the area as well.
