Welcome aboard, Heather! My family and I are sailing on a spooktacular
Halloween on the High Seas sailing this fall too. I cannot wait! Later, we'll be enjoying Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, so we're putting on our creative thinking caps right now to come up with some fun costume ideas that are packable. That's my challenge, as we usually make pretty elaborate costumes, but to pack and fly with them this year, I've got to really start thinking of how to simplify. I'm glad you're already considering your costumes as well!
On your seven-night Fantasy sailing, you'll enjoy both Pirate Night and the Halloween festivities, which will be on different nights. So, if you're not dressing up as pirates for Halloween, you'll probably want to bring two costumes: something swashbuckling and pirate-y for
Pirate Night and a Halloween costume for Mickey's Mouse-querade Party and the adult costume contest. That being said, to save room in your suitcase, being a pirate both nights is totally fine too, and lots of guests do this. However, you will see some really fun Halloween costumes, so if you want to go all out, bring both!
The Halloween fun starts as you board the ship for the first time and get your first glimpse at that marvelous Halloween pumpkin tree that will change each day throughout your sailing. Check your Personal Navigator each day, or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the schedule of activities and events so you don't miss a thing!
Have fun planning this ghoulishly fun cruise, Heather!
