This is our first family trip to WDW. Staying at All-Star Movies 6/9-6/13. 2 adults and 9yr old and 10mth old at the time. Any recomendations for us? Must sees? Anything special this time of year? Both kids are boys Thanks p.s. nervous about taking infant

Don't be nervous about taking an infant. We took 9-month-old twins with us to WDW and we had a great time. I really can't think of a place in the world that is more child-friendly than Disney. Your baby can go on many of the rides with you, my daughters loved Small World and the Jungle Cruise. When they were babies, my girls also loved meeting the characters. They loved feeling the fuzzy fur and the seeing the bright colors. To be realistic though, WDW can be overstimulating to a very small child (or to an adult for that matter). To have the best possible time, you have to know to quit when you're ahead. Realize that you're probably not going to have a wonderful time if you try to keep a cranky baby at a theme park all day. Take the baby back to the hotel for a nap and/or a splash in the baby pool, even if that means splitting up from the rest of the family for a few hours.

Your nine year is at great age to get the most out of a WDW vacation. He is now probably tall enough to go on most of the thrill rides. Most tween boys love Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, and the Tower of Terror. He will probably also get a kick out of the silly jokes at the Monsters Inc Laugh Factory and have a ball battling Emperor Zerg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Also be sure to keep an eye out for the new Toy Story Mania attraction which is opening this summer at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Other than "this summer" an official opening date has not yet been announced, and it may not be open yet during your trip, but you might be lucky enough to be one of the first to experience this.
