Hi Matt! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I'm so excited to hEAR about the plans you're making for your very first
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I promise that no matter where you choose to stay, how many Parks you plan to visit, or which
Character Dining Experiences you reserve you're going to have such an incredible time! Remember to slow down and really take it all in, as there is so much magic to explore!
It's never too early to start planning your next dream vacation and looking forward to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow! Right now, Guests are able to book upcoming Guest rooms and vacation packages through December 31, 2023. Booking availability for the following year usually pops up in late spring, so keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates!
If you need a little help deciding which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel best suits your family's needs I would suggest visiting the Panel Extras section of the planDisney website. Here, you'll find
Disney Resort Hotels Pocket Guides which offer bite-sized bits of information about each of the Resorts, helping you choose the Theme everyone wants and the amenities you're looking for! I also have three children and my family tends to enjoy Guest rooms with a little more space! We often look to Moderate Resorts like
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney Port Orleans Resort - Riverside which have a "5th Sleeper" option with an extra child-size pull-down bed, or
Disney Deluxe Resorts like
Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort, which also comfortably sleep five. These two Resorts also offer Character Dining Experiences right on site and both are in walking distance of some of the Theme Parks! If your youngest will be in a crib and you don't need the 5th sleeper option, you may want to look into the budget-friendly but fully-immersive Resorts like Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
I would definitely suggest having your children experience the wonder of
Magic Kingdom, with its classic attractions like "it's a small world" and Peter Pan's Flight. If your little ones are animal lovers you'll probably want to spend a day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park going on Kilimanjaro Safaris and checking out the Maharajah Jungle Trek. If they're Toy Story fans you'll probably want to spend time at Disney's Hollywood Studios meeting Buzz Lightyear and Woody, and if you're looking to meet as many Princesses as possible as you travel the world I'd definitely suggest heading to
EPCOT! I wish I had more space to go into every detail, but please stop by again if you have any other Park planning questions!
