What are all the “My first” experiences that Disney World offers? (In all parks/resorts)

Hi ya, Madilyn! I hEAR some first-timers are visiting Mickey and his pals soon!  My family has many Walt Disney World traditions, but as I dig into my memory bank, I can think of a few things that are must-dos for your first trip. Hopefully, some of them become traditions for your family, too!

*Head to any Guest Relations location or City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park and pick up your "1st Visit Buttons." I encourage everyone to wear these, from the littlest Mousketeers to the "young at heart."
*Make sure to have a Disney PhotoPass photographer take that iconic Cinderella Castle photo (I also suggest purchasing Memory Maker before your trip, because pictures make for the best souven-EARS).
*Eat something Mickey-shaped! There are lots of choices: waffles, pretzels, ice cream bars, sugar cookies, and Rice Krispy treats.
*Get a Dole Whip from Aloha Isle and afterward visit Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.
*Ride the monorail. Get off and walk around each of the resorts on the loop: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
*Book a character meal. This is a great way to meet your favorite Disney pals without the stress of waiting in line. My family's go-to is Chef Mickey's, where you can meet the Fab 5 in their chef garb. If you have Princesses in your midst, look no farther than Cinderella's Royal Table. Make a note in your calendar to reserve these meals 180 days ahead of time, as they are wildly popular!
*Conquer all the mountains: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Expedition Everest.
*End your day with a bang by watching a nighttime show. Happily Ever After is my favorite, and I love watching it from Main Street, U.S.A. Get there early to stake out a perfect spot.
*Lastly, make sure to stop and smell the roses (you can literally do this in the Canada Pavilion's Victoria Garden, which a beautiful spot in Epcot). Take time to enjoy the moment, and don't try to do everything. Save a few things for your next visit!

I hope your trip is filled with pixie dust and magical memories, Madilyn!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
