First ever WDW vacation in March to celebrate our princess obsessed daughter's 5th bday. Planning to spend 1 day at Epcot meeting Belle, jasmine, Aurora & Snow White - can you elaborate on the scheduled Meet the Princess events? Are they interactive?

    Hi Michelle,

I have three daughters. When they were five, one of their absolute favorite activities was meeting princesses. They just couldn't get enough of it.

The princess greetings at Epcot are quite relaxed. Guests line up maybe 15-20 minutes in advance. The princess comes out to meet with her royal subjects. There's not a show or anything like that. You can chat with the princess, pose for photos with her, or get her autograph.

I've had particular fun chatting with princesses when I come prepared with a topic. For example, you can ask Belle about her favorite book. Or ask Jasmine what's it's like to fly on a carpet.

In addition to signing autographs, characters will sign many other things as well. Since it's your daughter's birthday, you could bring a birthday card that they all will sign. Or bring a calendar and have them sign on dates that are important to your family.

You may also want to book a princess character meal. These are available at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom, 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian (at dinner), and at Akershus at Epcot. You get to meet princesses and dine at the same time! I suggest making reservations as soon as possible, as these tend to be very popular experiences.
