Hi There, our first ever Disney cruise on Fantasy and just need all the advise we can get. Can we book activities and dining before we leave? Or is this done when you board? Also have 2 kids 6 and 3 so any suggestions on what to do? Thanks so much

    Ahoy, Dan!

Welcome aboard, and congratulations on your inaugural voyage with Disney Cruise Line! You have made a fantastic vacation choice for your family, and you've come to the right place for help with your plans. I'm gEARing up for my six magical voyage on this beautiful vessel in just a few weeks, so I'll be glad to give you helpful tips and advice for your sailing in March.

Dan, there are a few activities and dining experiences you can book ahead of time. With a sail date of March 14, 2020, your onboard booking window will open beginning at midnight on Monday, December 30, 2019 (75 days before departure). This is the date all first-time cruisers will be able to reserve these activities. Port Adventures, beverage tastings, adult-dining at Palo and/or Remy, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or The Pirate's League makeovers, Senses Spa and Salon treatments, personal training sessions, private photo session at Shutters Portrait Studio, Disney Junior Character Breakfast, Frozen Gathering, Princess Gathering, Royal Court Royal Tea, Sports Simulators, Castaway Cay 5K, and "it's a small world" nursery! are currently all the activities that can be reserved ahead of time on the Disney Fantasy. You will be able to see these options when logging in to your reservation on your computer or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on December 30.

The rest of your onboard fun will be available to you once on the ship. The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have a list of activities for you to select from each day, which will include all the events planned for Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab. These are the areas for sailors ages 3 to 12. Once your Mouseketeers have their Oceaneer Band (pick up in cruise terminal or once aboard), they can check-in and out as often as they'd like during the secured hours of operation. The app will also have all the fun planned for families and adults-only, so you can pick and choose how busy you'd like to be while aboard. The ship is truly a destination in itself, so even with seven days, you won't get to everything! I do recommend using the "favorite" feature on the app, so you can keep up with everything you are interested in experiencing. And please don't miss the nightly show in the Walt Disney Theatre! From Broadway-style performances to variety acts, you will be thoroughly entertained by the incredible talent.

I hope I've helped, Dan. Please don't hesitate to come back with any additional questions. We'd love to hEAR from you again.
