Welcome aboard, Aneesha! Congratulations on booking your very first sailing with Disney Cruise Line! My family and I have sailed many times with Captain Mickey and his crew, but our first sailing will always hold such magical memories for us. I just know that your family is going to be making many magical memories yourselves when you head out to sea on the
Disney Dream next spring!
The Disney Dream's three-night sailings include three different
attire nights. Night one is Cruise Casual dress. The second night is
Pirate Night, which is Cruise Casual attire as well, but many guests wear pirate costumes, swashbuckling pirate gear, or pirate accessories to get into the fun festivities of the night at the Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party. The final night of the sailing is usually an Optional Dress Up Night. If you'd like to dress more formally that would be the night to do so. Even your favorite Disney friends will be out in their formal best that night. It makes for some great photos!
Guests on Disney Cruise Line's longer voyages, like the seven-night sailings, will have Formal and Semi-Formal nights in addition to Pirate Night and the Cruise Casual nights. But, believe me when I say that even though your sailing will only last three nights, there is so much fun and excitement crammed into those days, you'll have plenty to keep you busy, and hopefully you'll love it so much you'll book another cruise with Disney in the future!
Have fun as you begin planning this exciting adventure at sea, Aneesha! We're here to help if you'd like to stop back with any more questions throughout the next months as you continue to prep for your cruise!
Happy sailing!
