My first Disney trip is in February and I have a dining question. Is it usually difficult to find seating at quick service locations at lunch time? And are they so crowded that there are long lines to order? I am debating making table service reservations.

    Hi Keri!

Congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World! I definitely have a few tips to make your dining experiences absolutely magical.

The lines at Quick Service locations depend upon the time of year you are visiting, the time of day you are eating and the popularity of the restaurant. Be Our Guest is one of the most popular Quick Service dining locations and lines can get long, especially during popular times of the year.

I love to eat at off times of the day, such as a late breakfast or lunch at 2:00 or 3:00. Not only are the lines shorter during this time, but you can also combine meals and save money. By having lunch at 2:00, I can usually have a light snack for dinner.

The best place for Quick Service meals is Epcot, because there are so many wonderful options and the lines are usually shorter because there is a plethora of options. My favorites are La Cantina de San Angel and Harambe Market at Animal Kingdom.

You should also book a few Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), because there are some great restaurants throughout the parks and resorts. California Grill is one of my favorites because it sits atop of The Contemporary and you can see the Magic Kingdom from above. You can even book an ADR at the same time as Wishes and watch the fireworks from above!

    Magically,
    Stacy
