My wife and her bestie started their runDisney journey this past year, and they are having the most amazing time dressing up, running, and enjoying all of the neat experiences during race weekend. So let's lace up our running shoes and get to it.
Yes, the
runDisney 5k races typically go through and around the
EPCOT World Showcase before the park opens. Because of this, you won’t find any of the rides or experiences open, but you will see a bunch of fun character PhotoPass spots where you can stop and take a quick picture.
I’ve found that many runners love to dress up as their favorite characters. For example, my wife and daughter ran during the last Princess Half Marathon and wore outfits representing Cinderella and Snow White. There are an endless number of possibilities, and you can learn even more with this great article from

I also plan to make time to visit the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo while picking up your race packet and bib. Here you will find great shopping opportunities for all things runDisney as well as fun booths and experiences.
