Welcome aboard, Sandra! I'm so excited for your family! I'm getting ready to head out to sea for a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Wonder this fall too!
Have you started your online check-in yet? If not, do it now! There you can pick extras like the Princess Gathering and the Frozen Meet and Greet. Your little princess will delight in these experiences! Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for on-the-go access to the activity schedules, maps, menus, and texting feature.
Let's talk costumes! You'll want to pack a few costumes for your daughter. A Halloween costume for
Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, a Pirate costume or accessories for
Pirate Night, and a Disney princess dress or two for her to wear anytime throughout the sailing. I just love seeing little princesses each night at dinner!
Did you book a magical makeover at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? If not, consider it! My daughter enjoyed two royal makeovers that were the highlight of her sailings, especially at your daughter's age! Memories! If you don't want to spend too much, book a smaller package and bring a new princess dress from home to surprise her with onboard! Check out sales at Dinseystore.com before you go, or other online costume sales in early October before Halloween to save some cash!
Finally, book at least one Port Adventure because the magic doesn't only happen onboard. Disney offers some great family adventures in every port of call, so take the opportunity to introduce your daughter to the history and culture of Mexico!
Happy planning, Sandra!
