Ahoy, Tina!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I LOVE that you're taking advantage of having the Disney Magic in your home state and sailing down the East Coast for some pixie-dusted fun in the Bahamas and at the Walt Disney World Resort! It's a practically perfect time to cruise and visit Magic Kingdom because both the ship and park will be decked out with some BOOtiful Halloween decor!
While you visit the Magic Kingdom, you can absolutely enjoy a meal at the
Be Our Guest Restaurant. You can make an
advance dining reservation through the Walt Disney World website or by calling (407) 939-1947 just as you would if you were visiting for a land-based vacation. Reservations can be made up to 180 days prior to your arrival so if you are visiting in early October, your 180 day window has just past, so reservations are open. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a very popular place to dine in Magic Kingdom so you may have to check often if there is not availability at this time. It does serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with breakfast and lunch being quick-service and dinner being offered as table-service. When we dine there, I'm always open to any meal with availability because my family loves the ambience of the Beast's castle! Beast does greet Guests in his library at dinner only, which is from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
My family experienced a Bahamian sailing from New York a few years ago, and my favorite tip is to get up early when the ship sails back into Manhattan to catch the sunrise over the Hudson River! I'm not an early bird, but seeing the New York City skyline and the Statue of Liberty from this perspective at this time of day was simply spectacular!
Thank you for cruising back by, Tina!
