Hello, I will do my first Disney Cruise next year on the Fantasy in Europe. As we will fly in from Europe as well I would normally have no Dollars with me. Is it also possible to tip (e. g. room service) with Euros? What is the suggestion? Thank you!

    Hi Linda,

Welcome aboard planDisney! It's great to see you again. How exciting to have a Disney Cruise Line holiday planned next year!

One of my favorite features of a Disney Cruise is ordering room service. There are so many complimentary items on the menu, you have lots of options. I love to order the All Hands on Deck cheese plate while I'm getting ready for dinner or a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar before I go to bed at night. It is so fun to enjoy these little indulgences onboard.

When it comes to offering a tip to the Crew Members who deliver room service, don't worry about having euros rather than US currency when you board the ship! You can tip the Crew in euros or you can stop by the Guest Services Desk and exchange your euros for US currency (in limited amounts). At the end of your cruise, you can exchange US currency back to euros if needed. There is no fee to exchange your currency. Keep in mind that your onboard account will be billed in US currency.

I hope the weather will be warm enough for you to take a spin down the Aqua Duck on Disney Fantasy. I never miss a chance to splash around the ship, but be warned, you will get wet! You can grab a towel from the pool deck, so don't worry about bringing one from your stateroom.

I hope this information is exactly what you need, Linda. We are here to help, so let us know if you have other questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
