Ahoy, Shana!
Congratulations on your first voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! I remember how excited my family was before our inaugural cruise with Captain Mickey, so I'm sure your crew can't wait to experience all the MAGIC and WONDER at sea! Have you downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app yet? It's free for Apple and Android devices and will be your go-to guide to all the ship's happenings once you are aboard including the dinner menus. In the meantime, it serves as a countdown to your sailing!
Shana, other drinks can be brought onboard as long as they are packed in your carry-on luggage and sealed in their original packaging. When my children were younger, I did bring juice boxes to have in our stateroom and was able to keep them chilled in the stateroom refrigerator. Room service does offer apple, orange and grapefruit juice free of charge and is available 24 hours a day. You can also get juices at Cabanas, the casual dining venue and in the main dining rooms. Bottled water is offered in packages to purchase before you set sail in the Gift and Amenities Section on the Disney Cruise Line website and once onboard. I'm a huge water drinker and have found the water on the ship to be just fine to drink. I usually bring an insulated cup to fill up at the 24-hour beverage station and a small container of dish soap to clean it in my stateroom bathroom.
As you prepare for your enchanted journey, be sure to use the
Packing List as you plan what to bring. I've found the storage space to be quite ample in the staterooms aboard Disney Cruise Line especially under the queen size bed. I normally over pack so I appreciate the roominess!
