We are going on our first Disney Cruise on June. Do you know if the counselors at the kids clubs are good dealing with kids with disabilities? My son who is 9 is autistic. I'm very excited, but I'm also concern. Thank you!

    Hi Matthew!

As someone who works with children with Autism, I understand your concerns for your son on your upcoming cruise.  My advice is to go directly to the Oceaneer's Club & Lab after boarding the ship on embarkation day with your son.  Once there, ask to speak with one of  the youth counselors about your son's specific needs.  The youth counselor will discuss the various options for children with disabilities, and you will be able to ask questions about the activities offered each day.  With the wide variety of programming available, I'm sure you son will be able to participate in the activities that best suit his personality.

What makes a Disney Cruise so special and magical is their ability to meet the needs of all their passengers!

Please let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail!
