We are going on our first Disney Cruise in February, departing on February 6th on the Wonder. I am wondering what to wear to dinner each night? Cruise casual (and what exactly does that entail) semi formal, etc? Thanks! We are very excited.

    Ahoy Ali!

How exciting that your cruise is so close!  You are getting all of my favorite things on your Disney Wonder cruise in February; Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay are my family's two favorite ports.

Since your cruise will have two sea days, those will probably be optional formal and semi-formal nights.  A lot of your fellow cruisers will take that as needing to wear ball gowns and tuxedos, which is what my husband and I bring to wear on those nights.  But, you will also see everything from men in polo shirts to women in capri pants and everything in between.

Disney Cruise Line's official definition for cruise casual is "no swimwear or tank tops".  I would say that mostly everyone is dressed like they are going out for a nice dinner.

Don't forget about Pirate Night as well, it is a blast to see everyone dressed in their pirate attire!

Have a WONDERful cruise.  If you have other questions, please ask away.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
