Ahoy, Kristin and congratulations on your first Disney Cruise!
I'm always thrilled to hEAR from
first time cruisers because it makes me remember how over the moon my family was when we cast off with Disney Cruise Line for our inaugural sailing! I hope this is the first of "minnie" for your crew as my family still feels the same excitement, wonder and magic every time we set sail with Captain Mickey!
Currently, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna have escaped the frozen temperatures of Arendelle and are enjoying the warmer Bahamian weather on the Disney Dream. Character appearances are always subject to change, but my fingers are crossed that these Frozen sisters won't be headed back to build snowmen any time soon. The Frozen meet and greet experience does require tickets (at no cost to you!) that you'll request online once your
booking window opens up. For first time cruisers, this is 75 days prior to your departure. This is also the time you'll be able to make appointments for magical makeovers by the Fairy Godmothers-in-training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Pirate transformations when it turns into the Pirates League for all the Pirate festivities! My sailors have enjoyed both while at sea and loved the personalized treatment they received during their appointments!
Once your booking window opens up (at midnight EST), you'll be able to click on "My Cruise Activities" and then "View or Add" to see what's available each day. I also suggest reserving tickets for the Princess Gathering. This royal event is offered a few times per sailing and is an opportunity to meet several Disney Princesses at once in the Grand Lobby Atrium. Don't forget your pen and autograph book!
Kristin, please reach back out with any other questions you may have about your voyage! We are always happy to help.
Happy planning!
Nancy
