Ahoy, Claire!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm excited to hEAR you have a magical
Very Merrytime Cruise on the fabulous
Disney Fantasy planned for December! You have chosen a practically perfect date to set sail on the high seas for the very first time! This gorgeous ship will be decked out with sparkling holiday decor and special events such as "Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball," the "Deck the Deck Holiday Party," and "Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic" will provide festive fun for your crew!
As you look forward to your holiday-themed sailing, you will want to review over the
important items to bring with you on your Disney Cruise vacation. For a closed-loop cruise (beginning and ending in the same U.S. home port), passports are highly recommended, but not mandatory. The reason Disney Cruise Line strongly encourages Guests to have them is because of the unlikely event on an unforeseen emergency while on the ship or in one of the foreign ports of call. Passports will allow you to fly back to the U.S. without issue. My best advice is to read over the
Passport Information provided on the Disney Cruise Line website so you can make an informed decision for your family. If you do decide to use your children's birth certificates, please bring the state-issued certificates not the ones issued by the hospital.
Claire, I'm so excited for your family to embark on a magical voyage in just a few short months! Please keep us posted as you think of any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
Have a fantabulous day!
Nancy
