Boo to you, Candra! Welcome to planDisney!
You have picked a
fantastic inaugural! The
Dream is gorgeous anytime, but decked out in her Halloween finest, she absolutely shines. So many fiendishly fun activities are on board, including a Mousequerade (make sure to have a
not-so-spooky costume ready!) and trick-or-treating.
Your entire sail will have spirited happenings throughout, but you will have a few special days when you want to have appropriately themed attire. Including your Halloween costume, you also want to have scalliwag swag for Pirate Night. If you don't want to
pack another full-blown costume (but eye patches, chains, and boots do look fab!), know that you will have bandanas delivered to your stateroom, so you can combine that with a black/white/red outfit and fit in perfectly!
For the other nights, you can plan on a cruise casual, but you will also have an optional formal night. The
dress code for formal night is jackets for men and dresses or pantsuits for women, but don't be surprised when you see tuxes and gowns walk past. No pressure, but some of your fellow passengers love to take advantage of the fantastic onboard photographers for fancy family pictures!
Feel free to bring trick-or-treat bags, but my tip is to use a small bag you've already used for packing, or buy a bucket of popcorn at the movies, and then you'll have a
spooktacular bucket and keepsake for after the cruise! If you have any other questions, you know where to find us. I wish you a hauntingly perfect sailing!
