This is our first Disney Cruise. We will arrive a day early, staying at a Disney Resort. How do we fill in the cruise arrival time? An agent told me they only know three days prior to departure for our pick up time.

Welcome aboard, Emily! I like the way you're planning to vacation! Including a stay at one of the magical resorts at Walt Disney World before you set sail on the high seas with Disney Cruise Line is the way my family and I love to start our vacations as well!

Don't worry too much about an exact Port Arrival Time when you have to choose from the provided times in your online check-in. Just choose one sometime after 12:30 that is listed and you'll be all set, since Disney knows you'll be arriving via their cruise ground transfers. You will not find out your exact pick up time at your resort until the night before you set sail. The night before, you'll receive a notice in your resort room that lets you know the exact pick up time as well as the time your checked luggage will be picked up to be sent ahead to the ship. Usually our luggage pick up time is 8:00 a.m. As long as we attach the provided DCL luggage tags to our checked bags that morning, and they're sitting just inside our resort room door, we don't even need to be there when they're picked up! It's so convenient! We keep our day bags with us and use the rest of the morning to explore the resort and have a leisurely breakfast. Before we know it, it's pick up time! The pick ups are usually scheduled anywhere from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., depending on how many guests are sailing and staying at each resort before the cruise. So, enjoy your morning at the resort and then hop onboard the motorcoach, watch a few Disney Cruise Line videos and classic Disney cartoons during the hour-long trip to the port and soon you'll be arriving and ready to set sail!

Have a wonderful and very magical cruise, Emily!
