Hi! Going on our first Disney cruise, as well as being able to visit Disney for our first time while on the cruise in October! We booked a private V.I.P tour for the day we are in Disney. What is the recommended tip for the minimum 7 hours, 1 day guide?

    Welcome aboard, Jenna!

Wow, you have quite the Disney vacation planned, don't you? Not only will you get to set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew, but you'll spend an entire day exploring The Place Where Dreams Come True, Walt Disney World! Since you're only there for one day, and it's your very first time at the parks, I think it is a great idea to have a VIP Tour Guide through Disney to show you around and help you make the most of your time!

My family and I have had VIP Tour Guides at Walt Disney World twice, and those were definitely the best trips we have had because they've gotten us on rides faster, into attractions quickly, helped us meet our favorite Disney friends, dined with us, and had so much to share along the way, making our days super magical!

Of course, tipping is always at your discretion, but a $100 tip per day is a good amount to start with. I am certain that you'll have the most magical experience with your guide. Both of our guides were so fabulous, and we still keep in touch to this day! Enjoy your time at sea with Disney Cruise Line, in the ports, and especially at Walt Disney World, Jenna! Feel free to stop back if we can help with any other questions about your upcoming cruise!
