    First DC in April from Galveston.We are looking to stay @a hotel close by the night before we depart. Do you know which hotels there that Disney are affiliated with that we can leave our vehicle at? And/or does Disney provide parking that has security?

    I'm thrilled you are taking advantage of having a piece of Disney "Magic" right in your own backyard and embarking on your first cruise vacation this spring! I'm sure your crew can't wait to set sail, and let Disney Cruise Line spoil and pamper you during your adventures on the high seas!
    Disney Cruise Line has selected the Hotel Galvez and Spa for cruise Guests who purchase a pre-cruise stay and round-trip ground transfers. The hotel is conveniently located about a mile from the cruise terminal.  Since you are driving in on your own, you will need to let the valet know upon check-in that you will be leaving your car at the hotel during your cruise and a $17.00 fee (always subject to change) will apply.  The valet will also put you down for shuttle transportation for the next day. This seems like an easy, affordable option for your family!
    If you do decide to drive over to the Port of Galveston, the parking lot is located at 33rd Street and Harborside Drive.  The parking lot opens around 10:00am, and there is plenty of secured parking available for cruise Guests.  Rates are always subject to change, but currently you can expect to pay around $50.00 the day of arrival or $45.00 if you pay online prior to arrival at www.portofgalveston.com.
