Ahoy, Candice!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm always thrilled to help out a fellow Georgia Peach so thank you for cruising by with this excellent question. You are in for a fantabulous time when you set sail for your
Very Merrytime Cruise the week of Thanksgiving, and I'm completely jealous that you will have no Thanksgiving dishes to wash this year!
The answer to your first question is YES! There will be swashbuckling fun planned, including the spectacular Buccaneer Blast, on
Pirate Night. You'll definitely want to pack your pirate garb to dress-up for this exciting evening at sea. Other nighttime attire will include a formal night, semi-formal night and cruise casual nights. Formal night is usually Day Two or the first sea day, and semi-formal night is typically scheduled for the evening of Thanksgiving. Since your sailing is a Very Merrytime Cruise, you may want to pack some festive attire for Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball and the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party. The dazzling decor is the perfect backdrop for your photos, and you may even want to take your holiday card photo while aboard. My family has done this in the past, and it turned out beautifully! The
Disney Characters will also don their holiday attire, so it's always fun to coordinate with them in the pictures.
Candice, I'm excited for your crew to experience a magical Thanksgiving week aboard
Disney Cruise Line! If you have any additional last minute questions, please let us know! We are always happy to help.
Bon Voyage!
Nancy
