Welcome aboard planDisney Barbara! One thing that Disney Cruise Line does best if have
something for all ages!
Because your upcoming cruise will be your first time on Disney Cruise Line, you will complete
Online Check-In 30 days before your sail date. During this online process, you will provide your contact information, emergency contact information, simple headshot images of each person in your travel party, your travel plans before and after the cruise, and the payment information that you want to be linked to your Onboard Account, such as a credit card. Toward the end of this process, you will select your
Port Arrival Time, which is the time you will be able to board your Disney Cruise Line ship. You will not be allowed to board early so make sure to select the time that best works with your pre-cruise travel plans.
When you arrive in a port, you get to decide whether to disembark the ship for a
Port Adventure, to look around the port on your own, or to stay onboard the ship. There will be movies by the pool and other
daily activities happening while in port, so you won't be bored. This is a great time to explore the ship since it won't be as crowded, as well. If you leave, beach towels are usually located at the gangway as you are about to disembark the ship.
The all-aboard time, as well as daily activities, will be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that you download onto your cell phone. If you do decide to disembark, make sure you are back on the ship with plenty of time to spare before the all-aboard time. Each Guest must have their
Key to the World card and photo ID (Guests 18 and older) in order to debark and embark at each port, so make sure to carry that with you if you decide to leave the ship, or you will need to go back to your stateroom.
My
planDisney pals and I are here for you if you have any other questions. Sail back to us anytime.
Adventure is out there!
