Ahoy there Stefanie, and welcome to planDisney. You will be embarking on Disney Cruise Line very soon!
I checked in with the Disney Cruise Line Help Center, and an expiration date is not required during
Online Check-in when birth certificate is selected. If you are prompted to provide a date, make sure that you have selected a birth certificate as your travel documentation option. If you experience any issues, you can
contact the Disney Cruise Line Help Center for technical support.
You will need to keep all
travel documentation with you in your carry-on bag once you arrive at the Port because you will need to present it before embarking on the ship. You will be handing your checked luggage over to the porters and won't see it again until later in the day at your stateroom.
You will also need simple headshot images of each person in your travel party for Online Check-in. It's as easy as taking a cell phone photo against a blank wall! I like to have all of these items saved in a folder on my computer for easy access on the day I check-in online.
Stefanie, I know you and your family will have a great time! Disney Cruise Line offers a handy
packing list to ensure you have everything for your vacation. If you have any other questions between now and your sailaway date, stop back by
planDisney.
Happy Sailing!
