We are going on our first cruise in May of 2014 on the Dream. My DH and children (7 & 14) can be picky eaters. We plan to do the rotational dining every night, but if My DH does not fill up can we go to Cabanas also?

    Ahoy Karen!
I'm so glad you asked this question because my kids and I have been known to be picky eaters and cruising has definitely made us more adventurous!  Your crew will be happy to know that there are lots of choices at dinner including plain grilled chicken and a steak each evening.  The kid's menu also has good options as well.  I've asked to have sauces put on the side and mushrooms left off, and the culinary team is always happy to make the changes.  Something else to consider is that since you have already paid for all your food encourage your family members to order items they may not try at home because your servers will be happy to bring as many entrees as you like.  If your husband is still hungry after dinner, late night snacks are available in the adult entertainment district and in Cove and Vista Cafe, quick service is open on Deck 11, and Room Service is open 24 hours a day (if he has sweet tooth be sure to order the Big Island Cookies and a Mickey Bar).  Room Service is included, but you'll want to bring along some small dollar bills for tipping.  Cabanas is open for dinner, but Guests dining there in the evenings order off a menu instead of visiting the food stations.
I hope my answer makes your husband and kids feel better about dining each evening!  Thank you for stopping by, and please write back if I can assist you further!
    Have a magical day!
