Hi! We are about to take our first cruise in a few weeks! 3 night Bahamas! Question about Nassua, what is there to do there? Are we able to get to the Atlantis hotel easily? Thank you!

Welcome aboard, Kyla! What isn't there to do in Nassau might be the right question, as there are so many different Port Adventures available through Disney Cruise Line in Nassau. You'll find something for everyone, so the hardest part might actually be deciding which one!

You'll see the Atlantis resort from the ship, as it's not far from the port and is a gorgeous site to see! It was the first thing my kids spotted as our ship pulled into port and we were in awe!

If you want to go there, check out Disney Cruise Line's website, where you'll find 13 different Port Adventures centering around activities at Atlantis (be sure to click on Nassau as your port). If you are looking for the least expensive one that just gets you there, includes a very short tour and where most of your time is spent exploring on your own, you'll want to choose the Discover Atlantis Port Adventure. But, the others add lots of different experiences to your visit, from golf and swimming with the dolphins, to the water park and snorkeling.

If you can, be sure to get over to Atlantis to experience it. It's not to be missed! Of course, you are always free to book your own transportation over to the resort, but keep in mind that you will only be able to access a few areas of the resort on your own, as many are reserved only for guests or those on Disney's Port Adventures.

Have a wonderful cruise and visit to Nassau, Kyla!
