Ahoy, Isabel!
Congratulations on your first sailing with Disney Cruise Line! Once your Online Check-in opens up, you'll really feel like this vacation you've been dreaming of is a reality. As you go through the steps, you'll be able to finalize your plans including booking any onboard fun like adult dining, special Character meet-n-greets and spa experiences. Port Adventures can also to be secured at this time so I hope you have your list ready!
Youth club registration is a part of your Online Check-in, Isabel. When you booked your cruise, you actually reserved your children's spots in the
youth clubs by submitting their ages with your reservation. The registration will ask for some general information about your children including any dietary restrictions, nicknames they want to be called and a password for family members to use during check-in and out. If your children are old enough (8 or over), there will also be a spot to grant self-check out permission. What I'm describing is actually for the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab only as children old enough to participate in Edge (11-14) and Vibe (14-17) do not complete any online registration.
Even if you don't complete the youth club registration online, your children can still enjoy these spaces by stopping by and completing it in person. In fact, any children participating (between the ages of 3-12) will need to pick up an Oceaneer Band either in the cruise terminal or once aboard at the club or lab. These bands are used for secure check-in and out, to help locate your children when you come to pick them up and to identify any type of food allergy. They are fastened with a security clasp that cannot be removed unlike the MagicBands used at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Good luck with your Online Check-in, Isabel! Please write back with any other questions.
