    First cruise EVER for us is next week on the Dream! At the risk of packing wrong (or severely overpacking!) how cool is it on the upper deck when sailing? Weather looks nice from what I can see so far, but when moving is it cold/windy? Thanks!!

    Welcome aboard, Taya! Wow! You're heading off on your very first cruise next week? I'm so glad you chose Disney Cruise Line for your first cruise experience because you will not be disappointed.
    We've always found the weather on the ship to be very comparable to the weather in the ports where we've stopped. However, the temperature on your sea days can be a few degrees cooler for sure, especially if it's a bit breezy. But, then again, we live in cold and snowy Ohio, so if I'm on a Disney ship down south in January, I'm just happy to be wearing shorts in the winter! I tend to get a bit chilly at night, so I usually throw a sweater or jacket in the suitcase for cooler and windier evenings on deck, but my winter coat stays at home!
